Rhinoplasty (Nose Job) – Talented New Jersey Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Joseph FoderoRhinoplasty, sometimes called a "nose job", is a demanding procedure that requires extensive training, experience, and surgical expertise.

Dr. Joseph Fodero is a plastic surgeon with a passion for rhinoplasty in his New Jersey practice. Dr. Fodero has extensive training in rhinoplasty. He spent six years learning the procedure at the University of Michigan from some of the best rhinoplasty surgeons in the country.

Dr. Fodero has amassed considerable experience in rhinoplasty. He performs an average of two rhinoplasty procedures every week, and has been practicing plastic surgery for more than twelve years. His refined surgical skills allow him to consistently create attractive, natural-looking noses. Rhinoplasty is Dr. Fodero’s favorite procedure, and he has built a reputation for exceptional rhinoplasty in New Jersey and the Northeastern United States.

Dr. Fodero’s dedication to the nose is manifested in the variety of specialized rhinoplasty procedures he offers. Besides primary, or first-time rhinoplasty for women, Dr. Fodero treats a large number of men (male rhinoplasty), patients seeking revision (revisional or secondary rhinoplasty), and ethnic or non-white patients (ethnic rhinoplasty) at his New Jersey office.

He is able to correct gross deformities and subtle imperfections left after previous operations. He is especially adept at correcting the overdone rhinoplasty of earlier decades with secondary or revisional rhinoplasty at his New Jersey practice.

Non-white or ethnic noses often require a completely different surgical approach than the white nose. Dr. Fodero can sculpt the black, Asian, and Hispanic nose using the patients own tissue, and when needed, employing implants to create the ideal ethnically appropriate nasal contour.

Open vs. closed rhinoplasty Closed, or endonasal rhinoplasty is done entirely through incisions inside the nose. Dr. Fodero reserves this technique for the most straightforward noses. Open Rhinoplasty involves a small incision between the nostrils. The incision disappears shortly after surgery, and allows greater sculpting of the nose. Dr. Fodero performs open rhinoplasty on the majority of his patients in New Jersey.
